2012 High School Prep. Camp Walt Whitman
NEW LOCATION - Turf Field at Holy Child, Potomac, MD
WALT WHITMAN BOY’S SOCCER - 2009 MARYLAND 4A STATE CHAMPIONS
TST’s High School Prep. Camp will improve individual ability and prepare players for success in the upcoming season. Players will become fitter, improve their technical proficiency, and be challenged to demonstrate their newly learned skills and knowledge, in both functional training sessions and competitive small and full sided games. Coaches will provide progressive instruction in a positive and enthusiastic environment heightening each individual’s total soccer training experience.

TST offers year-round training through various types of programs for all players who wish to excel to the next level. All programs have been designed to concentrate on improving the skills of all players in every dimension of the game.

Rankin and Hayes invited to US Club iD2 Program
TST players Kia Rankin and Carmen Hayes will attend the US Club Soccer iD2 program at PDA Soccer Complex, NJ. The iD2 camp represents players with potential consideration for future youth National teams. The players will enjoy 4 days of high quality coaching and competiton from some of the best youth coaches and players in the country. Learn more about the id2 program

Lane headed to U17 National Team Camp and ECNL/id2 National Camp
Congratulations to current TST player Lindsey Lane on being selected to the Under 17 Girls’ National Team Camp roster for the Team’s Domestic Training Camp in Sunrise, Florida, January 28-February 4, 2011. In addition to training and playing during the camp the team will compete against international opponents Germany. In addition Lindsey will quciky turn-around and head to the ECNL/US Club Soccer id2 National Camp in Tallahasee, Florida, Febraury 10-13 for another 4 day camp. Albrecht Washington Post Player of the Year
Congratulations to TST player Cody Albrecht on receiving the Washington Post Player of the Year honors for 2010. Cody helped lead DeMatha to an undefeated season, is a member of the DC United Academy U18 Team, and has committed to play college soccer at St. Johns University next Fall.

Ryan and Phillips called into US Club Soccer ID2 National Program
Ali Ryan and Shannon Phillips have been invited to attend US Club Soccer’s upcoming id2 National Training Camp comprising female players born in 1994, 1995 and 1996 as part of the organization’s national player identification and development program. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based camp, held in conjunction with the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), will take place Feb. 26-March 1, 2010, at Vista Park. The camp will provide an additional opportunity for the best female players from the fall 2009 id2 Regional Training Camps to be exposed to U.S. Soccer National Team staff while also providing an initial opportunity for first-time attendees.
